Tasted at Justerini & Brooks agency tasting in London. The 2010 "G" Acte 2 is turning out to be a wonderful wine. It feels more settled on the nose compared to the "G" Acte 1, perhaps not quite as complex, but with greater precision, hints of charcoal infusing the blackberry and briary scents. The palate is underpinned by fine tannins, a fresh and somehow bouyant 2010 that expresses vigor. There is a lovely sense of symmetry on the finish that feels long in the mouth. This is an excellent follow-up to the Acte 1 from the Guinaudeau family and comes recommended.
