Tasted at John E. Fells Bouchard tasting in London. Juxtaposing the aromatics against the Chevalier Cabottes, to be honest, they are almost identical in profile, though perhaps the latter has more intensity. Chalk dust, green apple, a touch of kiwi fruit and hazelnut, well defined but tightly coiled. The palate is very intense on the entry with vibrant citrus fruit bursting through the door first, quickly followed by some lovely apricot and tangerine flavours filling the mouth. A touch more bite on the finish compared to La Cabotte. Drink 2013-2025. Tasted January 2010.
